東山は清水寺があることで有名で、京都の顔とも言える地域。古い京都の街並みが残っており、観光客も多い。

Higashiyama is famous of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and it is representative area of Kyoto. There still remain old streets, so many tourists visit here.

祇園白川は小さな川を中心とした地域。川岸に柳が並ぶ風情ある街並みがとても魅力的。阪急四条河原町駅から非常に近いため、少し立ち寄るのに丁度いい。

Gion Shirakawa is an area with a focus on small river. A taste street whitch has lines of willows on riverbank is very attractive.
Because it is located on near Shijou Kawaramachi Station of Hankyu Railway, you can stop at here easily.
